In my free time you'll find me at church, exploring antique malls, scouting out new coffee shops and breweries to try, and traveling to new destinations!

A foodie at heart, I love exploring the food scene wherever I am. My favorite restaurants in he Raleigh area are Second Empire and Brewery Bhavana.

My passion for photography began when I was just a little girl. I started taking photos on family trips and loved to show my work to anyone who took interest (back then I shot on slide film and gave presentations at my church)! I even sold note cards and won a few contests!

Fast forward several years, and I was honored to attend a nationally ranked magnet school for visual and graphic communications where I learned about the principles of design and took many courses in photography. Even while I attended Cornell University where I studied Health Policy, I kept my photography dream alive and bought my first DSLR camera after winning a $2,000 essay contest. My mom passed away from brain cancer while I was in college, and it was this experience that made me realize the importance of photos in keeping special memories and loved ones alive long after they are gone.

My first wedding was in 2011 for college friends right after graduation. The rest is history! I lived in the DC and NYC areas for years and got to shoot at many unique locations before coming to North Carolina, where I live with my wonderful husband and 3 dogs in Apex.

Combined, my background in art, 10+ years of photography experience, and a natural love of planning and order has made me passionate about not only capturing beautiful moments, but creating an experience that is organized and stress-free for my couples. I'm so excited to begin this journey with you!
